What are NeuroMelodies Events? 

Listening to music and singing songs has been found to restore musical memories preserved in the hippocampus of Alzheimer's brains, an area damaged by the disease. In past research studying the effect of music on Alzheimer's Disease, certain types of music provided the best outcomes in improving mood, reducing agitation, and more.

Music is a powerful comfort and provides a way for Alzheimer's Disease patients to connect. In NeuroMelodies Events, we will invite student musicians from local orchestras to perform classical music at senior care centers.
